Photo Diary: NYC

My last days in America were spent in New York. My family decided to come too, staying for a week, whilst Sarah and I stayed on an extra three days more. It would be safe to say that we got all the stereotypical touristy things done; the World Trade Centre museum and memorial, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge (my favourite!), a play on Broadway (Les Miz), the Chrysler Building, Grand Central Station, Empire State Building, an outlet mall just outside the city, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, American Museum of National History, Central Park, 5th Avenue, Top of the Rock, The Met and MoMA. As you can imagine getting all of this done in a week was pretty exhausting, but I'm so glad we covered it all! When the family departed, Sarah and I got to experience a bit of Brooklyn life. We stayed at The B Hotel & Hostel in Williamsburg which was always nice to come home to. Overall, New York was fabulous and I hope to return soon to witness the not-so-touristy side to it all!
